Customer Story: Healing Myself With Chaga

The following excerpt is a blog posted by the Berkshire Girl OnLine.
Although I remember that afternoon when Kim picked up her first bag of Chaga her comments that appeared in a recent blog post were a wonderful surprise to learn about.

I first learned of Chaga through the owner of Berkshire Grain.

When we met, he described some of the many benefits of Chaga,

and offered me a bag of Chaga chunks (which you use to brew Chaga tea).

I have had a debilitating muscle/skin/nerve disease for several years, and have been given all sorts of advice, wonder cures, and different things to try, hoping to reduce my symptoms. I have tried almost every type of Western medicine, from anti-malarial drugs to chemotherapy drugs, have tried all sorts of Eastern medicines, teas, and tinctures. Many of them were gross tasting, many of the medicines had awful side effects, but none of them ever worked to relieve my symptoms. So, when I was first offered the bag of Chaga from Berkshire Grain, I graciously accepted, then promptly put it away in my cupboard.

Locally harvested Chaga

Chaga is a parasitic mushroom that grows on trees(most often the Birch tree), and has been used in other cultures for thousands of years as a medicinal. Known as ‘Gift of God’ in Siberia, Chaga has gained a well deserved reputation for healing........
